This is video documentation of a live virtual puppet performance called “Parting on Z,” demonstrating the technical/conceptual side of my previous virtual puppetry projects, exploring human-computer interaction and relationships between the emotional psyche of the user (puppeteer) and avatar (virtual puppet). The video includes highlights from previous projects, showing elements of mixed reality, paradox, and humanizing technology.
