The transdisciplinary LEVR Center team (Drs. Thomas, Ryu, Kinsey) are building a novel and innovative VR application to treat LBP (low back pain). Specifically, we develop, build, and beta test Virtual Reality Guru (VR-Guru) for Dr. Wijesinghe, a pain researcher in pharmacology. This VR tool will then form the basis for both mechanistic and clinical trial grant applications to the NIH.
